Verizon’s budget pre-paid carrier Visible has never offered family plans, so the potential price savings slowly evaporates as you add more phone lines. Thankfully, that’s finally changing, as the carrier rolls out an ‘Inner Circle’ group option.

This new service lets Visible customers connect their wireless accounts with up to six other people (seven total) to save money on their premium plans while keeping their accounts private. If you’ve ever had to deal with the headache of a traditional family plan where one person is financially responsible for everyone, and leaving the plan disrupts others, this is great news.

Visible Inner Circle works by letting you link wireless accounts without being on a single bill. Instead of a single primary account holder, each member has full control over their account, so you don’t have to worry about coordinating payments or plan changes with others. This setup is perfect for friends, roommates, and chosen family members who want the benefits of a family plan without sacrificing their personal independence or privacy.

It’s a pretty smart way to handle things, and it feels more modern than plans today. According to David Kim, Chief Revenue Officer at Verizon Value, “most carriers are still trying to force everyone into a one-size-fits-all family plan model,” which seems true because we’re still pushing family plans that act a lot like plans from over a decade ago.

you’re able to have up to seven members in your Inner Circle and get the Visible plan with unlimited 5G data for $25 a month. If you’re on a premium plan like Visible+ or Visible+ Pro, you can save $5 a month if you’re in a Circle with at least two other people. It’s a great way to save money on premium plans without the hassle.

What’s cool is that each member gets complete autonomy. I use a family plan on T-Mobile, and it’s such a hassle for anyone else to add or remove things. I am the primary, so I have to give PIN codes and permissions, and it has become somewhat frustrating to handle. With Inner Circle on Visible, each person manages their service and their own bill. you may connect accounts for savings without having to connect payments, which is great.

Another great thing is the flexibility. You can create your Inner Circle with anyone you want, including friends, family, neighbors, roommates, because there’s no traditional family structure required. This is a really nice change of pace from traditional carriers, which often have strict rules about who can be on a plan. You can also mix and match different plans within your Inner Circle and leave or switch at any time without disrupting service for anyone else.

Visible Inner Circle is also designed to have more privacy than traditional family plans. You can connect accounts to save money while keeping your personal information private. Members control exactly what details they share within their Circle.

The Visible Inner Circle service is set to start on August 21 and will be available onthe Visible websiteand through the app. All these plans run on Verizon’s nationwide network, and the Visible+ and Visible+ Pro plans even have access to Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network.
