Hulu states The Bear season four isn’t releasing on June 15
After the publication of this article,ScreenRantcontacted Hulu and was told that the “June 15 date is not accurate.” While we can still assume a June launch, we’ll have to wait a bit longer until we know the specific date. The original article continues below.
It’s been over ten months since we last saw Carmy and his chaotic family and colleagues inThe Bear, with the final episode of the third season ending with a tantalizing “to be continued.” Now we finally know when we’ll get to see the next season and it’s sooner than you might think.
When DoesThe BearSeason 4 Release?
Let’s cut to the chase: season four of The Bear is launching on June 18, 2025. As usual, the show will air onHuluin the US andDisney+globally.
The news comes via the Brazilian-based websiteOmelete, who spoke to Joanna Calo, one ofThe Bear’s showrunners, at the US premiere of theThunderbolts*movie (Calo was brought on to the Marvel project to rework the screenplay.)
In the red carpet interview, Calo surprisingly revealed that the next season ofThe Bearwill launch in the US (and presumably globally) on June 15. That’s less than two months away. Plus, if the previous three seasons are an indication, all episodes will drop simultaneously.
We’ve always assumed that it was going to be released in June, since that’s the month every season of the show has launched in since 2022, but it’s nice to get a specific date. Considering the show’s stars Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Ayo Edebiri are all in hot demand and perhaps harder to lock down for shooting, it would have been understandable—albeit disappointing—if the fourth season slipped to later in the year.
That said, nothing has been officially confirmed by network FX or streamer Hulu, so the date could change.
What Can We Expect FromThe BearSeason 4?
When asked what we can expect fromThe Bear’s fourth season, Calo said, “It’s beautiful. There’s a lot of joy this season and I think you’re going to be happy. It’s not one of the meaner ones.”
We should get resolution to season three’s cliffhangers, like whether Sydney decides to leave The Bear to be head chef at a new restaurant, and what the Tribune’s review means for Carmy.
Also, while I enjoyed the third season, it wasn’t as good as what came before, so I hope the fourth season has a tighter focus and is less self-indulgent. The Faks also need their screen time stripped back, since they are only funny in small doses.
Nevertheless, I’m excited for June 15. Bring it on, chef.
