Netflix has officially announcedTudum 2025, the latest of its annual events that shares details on some of the streamer’s upcoming projects.

Tudumbroadcasts on May 31, and for the first time ever you can watch the live stream on Netflix.

What Is Tudum 2025?

As you’re able to see in theYouTube trailerabove,Tudum 2025promises a celebration of “the biggest fandoms in the world”. That means we’ll get a look at upcoming movies and shows likeHappy Gilmore 2,Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,One Piece,Stranger Things,Wednesday,Emily in Paris, and more.

The show will apparently feature many huge stars, so expect actors from some of those franchises to make an appearance, like Adam Sandler, Daniel Craig, and Jenna Ortega—though no names are confirmed, nor is it known whether they will actually appear live or via pre-recorded videos.

There will also be “dynamic live performances”, so perhaps we can expect theme tune instrumentals, a reenactment of the iconicWednesdaydance, and a script reading of the finalStranger Thingsepisode. Some of those may be more likely than others.

Tudumgets its name from the sound that greets you at the beginning of every Netflix Original.

Tudum 2025will have exclusive reveals that won’t be announced beforehand, but here’s a list of everything confirmed to appear so far:

How to Watch Tudum 2025

In previous years,Tudumhas streamed on YouTube, but now the event will live stream directly onNetflix. It makes sense, considering Netflix has made a big push into live content recently, with the likesWWE RawandEverybody’s Live with John Mulaney.

Every live event, includingTudum 2025, is included in all Netflix plans, even if you’re on one supported by adverts.

The show begins on May 31 at 5pm PT/8pm ET and will be held at the Kia Forum in California. You can even attend in person, if you buy a ticket onTicketmaster. Tickets will be released on May 9, though you may feel it’s easier—and cheaper—to simply watch the event from the comfort of your couch.

Tudumhas been running since 2020. It’s ordinarily held in São Paulo, Brazil, apart from a couple that were online-only due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so this marks the first time the event has been hosted in the US.

Netflix claims the 2023 event had 35,000 in-person attendees and over 78 million views across the company’s social channels.

Netflix is home to some fantastic exclusive shows and movies, so I’m excited to find out what the streamer has in store for the coming year, and hopefully get a closer look at some of theNetflix shows I’m looking forward to.
