Block a Subreddit in r/all With Old Reddit
One quick, easy, and free way to block subreddits romappearing in your
feed is to use Reddit’s old website. There, you’ll find the option to block whatever subreddits you want without paying for anything or using third-party tools.
Blocking a subreddit only disables that subreddit’s content in
. You’re free to access the subreddit itself anytime you want.
To use this method, in your Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebook, iPhone, iPad, or Android device’s web browser, launch the old Reddit site atold.reddit.com. Then, sign in toyour accountif you haven’t already.
After signing in, access your
feed. Then, on the right side, you’ll find a “Filter Subreddit” text box. Here, you may specify the subreddits you don’t want to see in your feed.
To block a subreddit, click this text box and type the subreddit’s name. Then, click the “+” (plus) icon. Similarly, add other subreddits thatyou want to block.
After you’ve specified your subreddits,refresh the page in your web browser. Doing so will reload
with your chosen subreddits omitted from it.
Later, to unblock a subreddit, select the “X” icon next to that item on the right sidebar.
