Since the first-generation Tesla Model 3 was discontinued in late 2023, all that remains is the used market. So if you’re shopping for a used Model 3, here’s what you need to know and what you should expect to pay.

From the moment it rolled off the lines in 2017, the Model 3 was a huge success for the EV maker and was easily considered the brand’s bread and butter, until the"Highland" update was introduced for 2024.

The 2023 Tesla Model 3’s Standard Features

Standard Feature Highlights

The interior of the Model 3 is extremely minimalistic, with virtually no buttons or other controls, and a 15.4-inch center touchscreen being the only feature on the dashboard. As standard, it comes with an all-black premium ‘vegan’ leather interior, although a white and black premium ‘vegan’ leather interior was an option.

As standard, the Model 3 comes withAutopilot, which uses eight surround cameras allowing for 360-degree vision, while 12 ultrasonic sensors provide detection of surrounding objects. Forward-facing radar sees through heavy rain, fog, dust, and beyond the vehicle ahead.

The Performance variant also features a stiffer, more performance-orientated suspension, resulting in a sportier driving experience.

In addition to the above, the 2023 Model 3 Performance includes additional features compared to standard Model 3s, like upgraded brakes (larger brake rotors, calipers and performance brake pads), forged performance alloy wheels (20 inch), a carbon-fiber spoiler, performance pedals, and a premium sound system (15 speakers, 2 amplifiers, 1 subwoofer).
