Google Snake

The classic “Snake” game that you may remember from very early smartphones is available to play on Google. The concept is simple: You control a snake on a grid with arrow keys. Apples appear in random spots, and it’s your job to eat them. Every time you eat an apple, the snake grows longer. The game ends if you hit the border or your own tail.

Google Pac-Man

One of the most iconic arcade games of all time is available to play right from Google—no tokens required. Simply use the arrow keys to movePac-Manaround, gobbling up the dots and fruits while avoiding the ghosts. Stay alive as long as possible to get a high score.

Google Minesweeper

You no longer need an old version of Microsoft Windows to playMinesweeper(it’s not included anymore anyway). Often described as “Sudoku with explosions,” Minesweeper is all about clearing a grid of tiles while avoiding the tiles that have bombs underneath. If you find a bomb, the game is over.

Google Solitaire

Speaking of classic Windows games, you can also playSolitaireon Google. The goal of this single-player card game is to clear all the cards from the table. You do this by stacking the cards in numerical order from Ace to King. Once you have the full 13 cards in order, they can be removed.

Google Tic-Tac-Toe

The origins of tic-tac-toe—also known as “noughts and crosses” and “Xs and Os”—have beentraced back to ancient Egyptaround 1300 BC. Then, it was played on roofing tiles. Now, it’s as simple as typing “tic tac toe” in Google Search. Wonders never cease.

Looking for a game that will test your brain? Google’s musical memory game is the answer. The idea to remember a sequence of sounds made by four sea creatures. It starts with one sound, then each round adds one more. See how many you’re able to get before messing up.
